This Sentieri guidebook describes 42 trekking routes in the Supramonte Mountains in Eastern Sardinia. The Supramonte Mountains has been described as the secret heart of Sardinia that plunges into the Mediterranean Sea. The guidebook is split into 5 sections, which are:

1) Baunei – Most of the routes follow the coast that reach many of the Gulf of Orosei beaches via very steep and usually quite difficult paths.
2) Dorgali – These routes reach beaches on the north side of the gulf, plus explores the inner Supramonte with the likes of Tiscali village and Campu Doinanicoro.
3) Oliena – These routes take in the highest mountains of the Supramonte that provide unique and spectacular surrounding views.
4) Orgosolo – A secret mountain, where its millenary forest from which emerge the beautiful nuraghes of the Supramonte, facing the incredible Sa Giuntura Valley.
5) Urzulei – The Gorroppu Gorge is one of the most monumental and spectacular gorges in all of Europe, passing through rock cliffs and barely accessible pastoral dwellings.

Each route is described over many pages, starting with a brief overview and general description. The route is then described in great detail along with at least one 1:25,000 map.

Published in 2016 this guidebook is in English text throughout and these 42 trekking routes showcase the stunning walking and trekking found in the Supramonte Mountains.
